Asked about her 2025 plans, Katya wrote: “Actually 2025 is actually looking very exciting! Quite a few projects and jobs that I've been working on for a while.

“Strictly is what has allowed me to have this platform and I will continue doing it as long as I have the same passion for it.

“But we are growing and evolving – and not getting any younger.

“So it is important to keep looking ahead and create a future for myself doing things I love.”

Hinting that she would like to end up on the judging panel, Katya said: “We might get to see soon what kind of judge I could be.

“I have the knowledge and the credentials to be technically demanding but I have been on the other side so long that I understand the importance of being compassionate and understanding.”

Katya came under fire in 2018 when she was pictured kissing her celebrity dance partner Seann Walsh while they were both in relationships with other people.

Then earlier this year her 2024 partner Go Compare opera singer Wynne Evanswas axed from the Strictly tourafter he joked about having a threesome with a professional dancer and tour host Janette Manrara, 41, during a full cast photocall.

He washeard using the demeaning term “spit roast” in reference to a lewd sexual act.

Katya won the 15th series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2017 alongside Joe McFadden.
