Published on April 12, 2025 at 03:07 PM

A MAJOR supermarket has announced a cracking deal on large branded Easter eggs, just in time for the bank holiday weekend.

For a limited time, shoppers can buy any large branded egg for £2.32.

This replaces the previous offer of four selected eggs for £11.96 (equating to £2.99 per egg), resulting in a saving of 67p per egg.

The latest deal beats all other major supermarkets including , , Morrison, Sainsburys and .

The price drop applies to over 20 large eggs, including popular choices from , and Mars:

  • Cadbury Crème Egg Large Egg, 195g – now £2.32
  • Maltesers Teasers Milk Chocolate Large Egg, 190g – now £2.32
  • Cadbury Caramilk Golden Caramel Chocolate Large Egg, 183g – now £2.32
  • Galaxy Minstrels Large Egg, 204g – now £2.32

Other big brands featured in the offer include Terry's, Eggs, Celebrations, and M&Ms.

This price drop comes hot on the heels of other Asda Easter deals earlier this year, which saw smaller eggs discounted to just 98p.

While those offers were short-lived and varied by location, this latest offer gives shoppers a chance to snag a bargain on larger eggs just before Easter.

Prices will remain at £2.32 until Monday, April 21.

You can find your nearest Asda supermarket by visiting storelocator.asda.com.

Alternatively you can shop online at asda.com.

How does the offer compare?

Asda's new Easter egg offer provides significant savings compared to other major supermarkets.

Large branded Easter eggs are currently available at Asda for £2.32.

For example, a Cadbury Crème Egg Large Egg (195g) costs £4 at both Tesco and .

Even with a Tesco Clubcard, the price is reduced to only £2.95, still 63p more expensive than Asda's offer.

Meanwhile, Aldi, known for its competitive pricing, sells its large Celebrations Egg for £3.45, which remains £1.13 more expensive than Asda's offer.

It's important to remember that supermarket pricing, especially for seasonal items like Easter eggs, is dynamic.

As we get closer to Easter other supermarkets may launch further discounts and promotions to compete with Asda's pricing.

Just last week, to an impressive 99p.

Savvy shoppers should keep an eye on the latest offers and compare prices across all major retailers, both online and in-store, to secure the best possible deals.
