MILLIONS of Tesco customers with a Clubcard can make the most of their points with a handful of simple tricks.
Over 23million UK households are signed up to the loyalty scheme, so if you don't have one, you've probably heard of it.

But even if you are signed up, you might not be making the most of all those hard-earned points.
spoke to Tom Church, expert from LatestDeals.co.uk, Jordon Cox, Britain's “Coupon Kid” and Dan Evans, deals expert from HotUKDeals, who revealed their top tips for optimising your Clubcard points.
Make the most of double points
While you can spend Clubcard points on a future shop, they're also redeemable with any number of Tesco's partners.
They used to be worth triple, but the .
You can redeem your points with more than 100 partners, but some are worth redeeming with more than others, Jordon said.
He said: “I don’t recommend doubling them up for places like and , because quite often you can get deals, coupons and vouchers for those elsewhere.
“Instead, use your credit on retailers that are hard to get discounts on (ordinarily), such as Disney+, .com, , P&O and others.”
Boost points with little effort
You might not know, but you can in fact earn Clubcard points for money spent through Tesco Mobile.
The same goes for buying petrol at Tesco petrol stations.
They're two ways to get Clubcard points with minimal effort.
Of course, only sign up to Tesco Mobile if you were going to anyway and only buy petrol if the price is right.
Tom said: “If you’re with Tesco Mobile, make sure your account is linked to your Clubcard number.
“You can earn a point for every £1 spent either as a Pay-As-You-Go top up, or on your monthly bill.
“Similarly, you’ll get Clubcard points by filling up at a Tesco Petrol Station and scanning your card.”
Level up to Clubcard Plus
If you're a regular shopper at Tesco, it could be worth signing up to Clubcard Plus.
It costs £7.99 a month but gives you 10% off two in-store shops of your choice each month.
If those shops are worth £40 or more, you're making the £7.99 back and saving a little extra on top too.

Dan, from HotUKDeals, added: “You can cancel at any time, so if you’re going away or don’t anticipate spending much at Tesco in a particular month, cancel your subscription until you know it’ll offer value again.”
Make the most of marketing
Opt into Tesco emails where the retailer will send offers every week – it's a quick and easy way to top up your points.
Dan said: “It can be annoying getting lots of emails, but they do send some good offers that can help boost your points.”
You can sign up for marketing emails via www.tesco.com/account/preferences/en-GB/marketing.
Other top tips for boosting points
Clubcard vouchers expire so don't let any go to waste.
They expire two years after the date they were issued.
You can check if you've got any vouchers to spend by logging into your account at Tesco.com/clubcard.
Click on “my Clubcard account”; and then “vouchers”; to see what you’ve got.
If you do have any vouchers that are due to expire, there is one quick trick you can use to extend their lifespan.
You just have to use the voucher to buy something, then whatever is left over will be valid for a further two years.
For example, if you have vouchers worth £10, you could spend 50p and get back £9.50 which will be valid for another two years.
Beyond this, you can also earn 150 Clubcard points by completing surveys through Shopper Thoughts as well.

What is Tesco Clubcard?
Tesco Clubcard customers earn points when shopping in-store or online.
You earn one point for each £1 spent and each point is then worth 1p.
Once you've earned 150 points, equivalent to spending £150, you receive a voucher worth £1.50.
This voucher can then be used to get money off a shop in your local Tesco store or online, or with Tesco's rewards partners.
You can also earn points by making purchases through a range of Tesco's partners including Xauxhall, Evri and OVO .
For example, shoppers buying a new car can get 50,000 Clubcard points or those spending £1 with Evri get one point.
Of course, you can double the value of any points earned by spending them at any one of Tesco's rewards partners.
The full list of Tesco's partners is on its website via secure.tesco.com/clubcard/reward-partners.
Any vouchers transferred into Reward Partner codes expire after six months.
