TESCO has left shoppers gutted after discontinuing an “amazing” lunchtime favourite.
The has cut its own brand tomato and basil soup from its chilled range to the disappointment of fans.

Tesco said it makes changes to its soup range through the year based on seasonal demand.
The will expand its offering again in the autumn.
However, even if the loss does turn out to be temporary, the loss has upset some loyal fans.
One said: “Trying to find this soup… has it been ?”
Another added: “Went into big Tesco to get my favourite tomato & basil soup for dinner, but it was out of stock. Evening ruined.”
The soup has a smooth tomato blend finished with basil and a hint of black pepper.
It has been removed from Tesco's and is no longer available in stores.
A number of other supermarkets sell tomato and basil soup including Sainsbury's where a 600g tub is priced at £1.49 and M&S where 600g will set you back £2.50.
Supermarkets regularly review their ranges and cut products to make space for new items.
Tesco shoppers have previously been dismayed to find the supermarket .
