They gave reasons’ – Kemi Badenoch defends Israel for deporting two British Labour MPs

Leader of the United Kingdom’s Conservative Party, Kemi Badenoch has defended Israel’s decision to block two British Labour MPs from entering, saying “every country should be allowed to police its borders.”;

According to Badenoch, the Israeli government gave reasons and the United Kingdom should respect it.

Recall that the Israeli government had on Saturday denied two Labour MPs, Yuan Yang and Abtisam Mohamed.

According to a statement from the Israeli immigration ministry, both MPs were rejected because they were suspected of plans to “document the activities of security forces and spread anti-Israel hatred”;.

Reacting to the development, Badenoch told Sunday Morning With Trevor Phillips: “They're relatively new MPs just elected last year. I think every country should be able to control its borders.

“And that is what Israel is doing as far I understand.

“They gave reasons why they believed those people should come in based on their laws.

“It's really important that we respect other countries enforcing their borders.”
