IT'S heating up outside – the jumpers are going away and the summer dresses are coming out.
But along with the arrival of the warmer weather comes something women around the world struggle with – the dreaded “chub rub”.

The painful chafing occurs when the bare skin on the thighs rubs together, and can get so bad that it leads to bleeding.
And while there are new products every year aimed at helping conquer chub rub, there are also a whole host of hacks that women swear by.
One TikToker shared a videoasking for recommendations, after admitting the “liquid talc just isn't cutting it”.
Seren was inundated with suggestions of products to help, with one admitting they'd found something that had been a “godsend” in their own struggle against chafing.
And it's something you could well already have in your make-up bag too.
“Primer!” the woman wrote.
“I swear by it – the L'oréal infallible primer.
“Works so good!”
“Omg never thought of this!! That’s such a good idea,” Seren replied.
To which the woman then responded: “Honestly it’s a godsend – it’s like butter.
“It is like a tenner but I’d pay thousands not to rub,” she added, although the primer can be found for as little as £5.99 online.
While talcum powder, and liquid talc, have long been recommended by chub rub sufferers, deodorant is another one that rates highly among tried and tested products.
“I use Wild deodorant for chafing and it’s the best thing ever,” one wrote in the comments on the TikTok.
“It fits perfectly in my purse and it’s so easy to apply!”
“Dove invisible dry deodorant cream stick... game changer!!” another said.
“Men's roll on deodorant!” a third commented.
“I've done Disney World when it's been hotter than the sun with zero sweat or friction.”
“Sanex do a clear stick deodorant, I use that,” someone else said.
“Or cocoa butter – the Palmer's one. Works a treat and smells divine!”
“Sure confidence cream antiperspirant,” another wrote.
“Let it dry, then silky underwear powder from lush.
“No chafe and no need for chafe shorts either!”
Others shared the products they've previously found effective, with one recommending the Body Glide from Amazon.
“I was literally was able to walk up steep steps in Santorini for hours in 35 degrees with no issues,” she wrote.
“And they used to be so bad my thighs would bleed before!”
“Snag tights chub rub shorts! Game changer,” another raved.
“Primark's anti-chafe balm is amazing and only £2.50, lasts me a whole summer,” a third said.
As someone else wrote: “I use Lancane anti chafing cream and it's really good.
“Can get it from Home Bargains, Boots.”
