Tinubu asked me to work for him but I refused – Buba Galadima

A chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Buba Galadima has disclosed that President Bola Tinubu requested he worked for him.

Galadima said Tinubu made the request four times but he refused the offer.

He disclosed this during an interview with AIT on Wednesday.

Galadima also disclosed how Tinubu offered his daughters jobs over a phone call.

The NNPP chieftain said his daughters had called Tinubu to lament the current hardship in the country and their inability to secure employment, but the president intervened and ensured that they got employed.

Galadima said: “Maybe because of my relationship with him, I thought that I can't look at him straight in the eyes and tell him what is right.

“During the burial of Obaigbhena's mother, Tinubu stood from his sit and came to me asking that I work for him four times, but I said no.”

The elder statesman also disclosed how former President Muhammadu Buhari refused to pay his daughter who worked for him.

Galadima said his daughter worked for Buhari in the Office of former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo for four years without pay.
