Tinubu: Your coalition will not work – Ganduje to Atiku, El-Rufai after visiting Buhari

The All Progressives Congress, APC, National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, has warned that the coalition by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar against President Bola Tinubu's reelection in 2027 will not work.
Ganduje said the APC is not worried about the coalition because it's not viable and cannot oust Tinubu from power.

He disclosed this to journalists after visiting former President Muhammadu Buhari in Kaduna State, Friday.

Ganduje visited Buhari shortly after Atiku, former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, ex-Sokoto State governor, Aminu Tambuwal, former Benue State governor, Gabriel Suswam visited met the former president.

This comes as Atiku, El-Rufai and a host of other politicians announced a coalition that would remove Tinubu from power in 2027.

However, Ganduje said the APC remains unshaken and focused on strengthening its base.

According to Ganduje: “We are not worried at all. We came to pay our respects to the former president and also to update him on the achievements of our great party since his departure.

“We assured him that we would continue to keep him informed regularly.

On Atiku's visit, Ganduje said: “That visit is of no concern to us. It’s just another attempt at repeating history, but it won’t work.

“What they are trying to build is not viable. Some particles simply cannot come together,”; he stated.
