Transfer: Man United demands £30m from PSG for Brazilian star

Published on December 23, 2022 at 08:26 PM

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is willing to let Brazilian midfielder, Fred join Paris Saint-Germain.

For this reason, the Old Trafford landlords have set their asking price for the 29-year-old midfielder.

The World Cup star is being chased by Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United will let him go for £30 million or more.

Fred was on his way out of the club in the summer before the Red Devils activated a 12-month extension clause in his contract earlier this week.

Following the arrival of his national teammate, Casemiro and Denmark International, Christian Eriksen at Old Trafford, Fred has only started just four Premier League this season.

Though Ten Hag admires Fred’s tenacity and fitness levels, he has preferences for midfielders that are better at dominating games.

United are willing to let Fred go but the Sun reports that the club is seeking £30m for the Brazilian.

The Brazilian arrived at Manchester United for £52m in 2018 and has made 174 appearances for the Red Devils in four and half years.
