I’m a traveller & I spend 40 mins a day cleaning my front & back door – people say it’s excessive but it’s important

I'm a traveller - here's how to deep clean your hoover & the clever free trick I use that'll keep it smelling fresh
A traveller has revealed how she spends 40 minutes a day cleaning her front and back doors.
Angela Ann Doherty, who has white PVC doors and windows, is determined to keep them looking clean and shiny.
A traveller has revealed the important reason why she cleans her front and back doors daily
She explained that she scrubs them thoroughly to ensure “every nook and cranny”; is sparkling clean before rewashing them.
Angela, who goes by the name @angelaann.doherty on TikTok, shared a video with her 72,000 followers, offering a step-by-step guide.
The traveller explains that she uses the cleaning product Pink Stuff paste, which costs £1.50 from Dunelm, and claims it to be a “miracle cleaner.”;
She then uses washing-up liquid and bleach to remove any remaining residue.
The video shows her using a sponge, a paintbrush – to tackle hard-to-reach places – and a cloth.
She also demonstrates her deep cleaning routine, which she carries out once a fortnight, though during the winter months, it becomes a weekly task.
Her daily routine, however, is much simpler.
She says: “If you've got any rubber marks on your door, I highly recommend you use the Pink Stuff.”;
Angela advises against using Bar Keepers Friend, which costs £2.99 from Lakeland, as she believes it’s “not as good as the Pink Stuff.”;
She demonstrates in the video how “easy”; it is to remove marks using her preferred product.
I’m a traveller with a spotless home and I’ve tried loads of glass cleaners - I’ve finally found the best one, it’s only £3.50 and the shine is unreal
She also recommends using Astonish window cleaner, which currently costs £1 from Amazon, but advises using only one spray as it can be “too suddy.”;
Angela further suggests using a Vileda Shammy Cloth, which costs £4.44 from Amazon, as she finds it ideal for daily cleaning.
Her daily routine includes hoovering the front door and wiping it down to prevent dirt from building up.
She concludes the video by saying: “One of my favourite things in the world is welcoming guests with a clean front door.”;
Angela’s video has gained over 578,000 views, with 516 people rushing to the comments section to share their thoughts.
One person wrote: “The paintbrush is the best tip I’ve seen! My new go-to!”;
She hits back at anyone who may think it's excessive
Another added: “These traveller women are the best cleaners in the world. Great job, love.”;
A third commented: “Traveller women are the best cleaners ever.”;
Someone else asked: “Why are travellers so cleaning-focused? I’m in awe, fascinated, and asking with so much respect.”;
Angela replied: “I’m not entirely sure, but I think maybe it’s because living in a caravan, etc., they’re easier to get dirty and bring in germs, so they clean a lot – especially if a new baby comes home.”;
