US B-2 strike force massing in Brit island is aimed at IRAN…as clock ticks down on Trump’s chilling nuclear deadline

Published on March 28, 2025 at 05:19 PM

DONALD Trump's B-2 bomber strike force is massing on the British island of Diego Garcia and is now aimed at Iran.

The Ayatollah is running out of time as he faces a deadline slapped on him by the American president over a new nuclear deal.

Trump has demanded the Iranian tyrant either sign a new agreement or potentially face military action.

Don gave the supreme leader a two-month deadline and there is just five weeks to go.

Iran has responded to Trump's deadline through Oman as a middle man, Axios reports, but what they said is not yet known.

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi of Iran said that it won't negotiate with America directly as long as Trump's “maximum pressure” campaign is in place.

The Republican has also warned Tehran to immediately cease its support fortheHouthi rebelsin Yemen.

It had been thought the five B-2 Spirit bombers were aimed at Yemen and the Houthi terror group after Trump launched strikes against them last weekend.

The heavy bombers can obliterate targets with their huge 25 tonne bomb payload per jet.

Iran is a minimum 2,300 miles away from where the bombers are stationed in Diego Garcia.

But the B-2s have a range of a whopping 6,900 miles.

Trump and Iran have history and the US President could be looking to exact revenge for a failed assassination plot in revenge for the killing of Iranian general Qasem Soleimani in 2020.

The President has given his team strict instructions to completely obliterate Iran if they ever assassinate him.

In February, Trump responded to a question over what protocols would instantly be triggered should he be killed by an Iranian plot by saying there is already a plan set.

He said: “I've left instructions if they do it, they get obliterated, there won't be anything left.”

Federal authorities have been tracking Iranian threats against Trump and other US administration officials for years.

It was revealed in November, that an Iranian agent had been charged with plotting to kill Trump in an assassination that would have shaken the world.

USprosecutors say the rogue state told ex-con Farhad Shakeri — said to be hiding inTehran— to devise a seven-day plan to spy on and murder him.

In a chilling letter delivered to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on March 7, Trump suggested direct negotiations of a fresh nuclear agreement between the two counties.

But he also made a chilling warning of the consequences if Iran were to reject the offer and continues to advance its nuclear programme dubbed Axios, reports claim.

The same day the letter was sent, Trump admitted to Fox Business that the US was “down to the final moments” with Iran, adding that there would be “interesting days ahead” having “written them a letter”.

He added that if a deal wasn't made, Iran would have to face the US “militarily”.

Trump has given Iran an ultimatum which expires in just weeks

According to US officials and sources, the letter was “tough,” and was delivered by Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff directly to theUAEPresident Mohammed Bin Zayed.

Trump launched a blitz on Houthi rebelsin thecapital Sanaaon March 15 in response to the terror group’s attacks on Red Sea shipping.

The Houthis have launched more than 100 attacks since November 2023, claiming they are targeting vessels linked to Israel over the war in Gaza.

This moving aerial military arsenal has included essential accessories for the deadly B-2 bombers.

Satellite imagery also showed three C-17 cargo planes and ten refuelling tankers being sent toward the isolated British territory, according to analyst IntelFrog.

Several B-2 bombers were spotted moving from the Whiteman Air Force base in Missouri to Diego Garcia.

These mass movements of deadly military aircraft, especially in this region, are unusual and could signal an extreme escalation in tension between the US and Iran.

Will Trump strike Iran?

DONALD Trump has made his loathing for Iran clear time and time again.

The US President sparked panic in Iran after he killed Qasem Soleimani in a 2020 airstrike.

Iran appeared to take the idea of assassinating Trump seriously with important figures in the country, like one Iranian spy, saying Trump should be executed.

Two hitmen were arrested as part of an alleged for-hire plot to take out Trump before the November 5 election.

The US President has threatened to blitz the nation and recently gave Iran a chilling two-month deadline to fall into line and strike up a new nuclear agreement.

Trump has also warned Tehran to immediately cease its support for the Houthi rebels in Yemen.

He threatened the nation would face consequences if they rejected a nuclear agreement offer.

Trump said that if a deal wasn't made, Iran would have to face the US “militarily”.
