The United States President, Donald Trump, blocked Elon Musk from being part of a top secret government meeting on China.
Two top Pentagon officials, Dan Caldwell and Darin Selnick, were suspended by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth following a probe into the leak of news about the briefing on China to Musk.
According to Axios, Hegseth did not only decide to call off the meeting after the leak but the Trump himself ordered staffers to kill it.
Trump is reported to have launched into a furious rant when he heard of Musk's planned attendance.
He told staff: “What the f**k is Elon doing there? Make sure he doesn't go.”
The US president is believed to be angry that Musk was being given the briefing because the SpaceX founder has billions of dollars of business interests in China.
It comes after it was revealed that Musk's constant presence at the White House, his bizarre social media posts, and his brazen movements within his Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE, role has angered several White House officials.
