Trump, Elon Musk reveal preferred candidate for Wisconsin Supreme Court election

Published on March 25, 2025 at 07:09 AM

President Donald Trump and the head of Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE, Elon Musk have publicly endorsed Brad Schimel for the Wisconsin Supreme Court election.

This was made known in a post by an X user, @cb_doge and shared by Elon Musk on Tuesday.

The post reads, “President Trump and Elon Musk have both endorsed Brad Schimel for the Wisconsin Supreme Court election”.

It added that Elon Musk’s America PAC “is also offering $100 to registered Wisconsin voters who sign a petition—plus $100 for each person they refer”.

DAILY POST reports that the April 1 election is expected to determine whether liberals maintain control of the state’s apex court as it prepares to rule on several high-profile cases that will have direct effects on President Trump's administration.

The contest between liberal Dane County Judge, Susan Crawford and conservative Waukesha County Judge, Brad Schimel has drawn millions of dollars, notably from Musk, who is leading the administration’s efforts to dramatically slash the size of the federal government.
