Published on April 10, 2025 at 06:14 PM

President Donald Trump has announced his intention to retain the services of the Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE.

The President made this known on Thursday at the White House during a meeting with members of his cabinet.

In attendance were Secretary of State Marco Rubio, departmental secretaries, and special government employee and tech billionaire Elon Musk, who heads DOGE.

President Trump stated that he was impressed by the work DOGE has been doing and expressed his desire to retain its staff.

After Musk’s comments, Trump said: “Your people are fantastic, hopefully, they'll stay around for the long haul. We'll like to keep as many as we can. They ‘re great, smart, sharp, finding things that nobody thought of, and very computer savvy.”
