Trump would-be assassin allegedly sought rocket launcher from Ukraine to shoot down plane

Court documents have revealed that one Ryan Routh, a suspected would-be assassin of President Donald Trump, had sought to obtain dangerous military-grade weapons including a rocket launcher from Ukraine to carry out his assassination plot.

The weapon, according to reports, was to shoot down Trump's plane.

According to the court documents obtained by Fox News, Routh told his associate to “send me a rocket-propelled grenade, RPG or stinger”, promising that he “will see what we can do”.

The suspect, who made the request in August last year, added that President Trump “is not good for Ukraine.”

He further inquired if his associate could “ship it” to him before explaining his intent for the weapons.

“I need equipment so that Trump cannot get elected”, he added.

According to the documents, Routh further stated that the weapons of war get lost “all the time on the battlefield” and “one missing would not be noticed.”
