Turkey: Osimhen scores in Galatasaray’s win at Samsunspor

Victor Osimhen was on target as Galatasaray defeated Samsunspor 2-0 in a Turkish Super League clash on Friday.

Galatasaray went in front through Yunus Akgun in the 14th minute.

Osimhen doubled the visitors' advantage one minute after the break, with Akgun providing the assist.

It was the Nigeria international's 21st league goal of the season for the title holders.

The 26-year-old has so far registered 28 goals and five assists in 33 appearances across all competitions for the Yellow and Reds.

He was replaced by Spain international Alvaro Morata 14 minutes from time.

Galatasaray, who are targeting a third consecutive league title, sit at the top of the standings with 74 points from 29 matches.
