Nigeria’s U-20 side, the Flying Eagles will today take on Danish Football Academy in a friendly at the FIFA Goal Project Football Field in Abuja.

It will be first tune up game for Ladan Bosso’s side since they resumed camping in Abuja ahead of the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

The team is expected to play more friendly games as they continue their build up towards the competition.

The Flying Eagles were last in action in May when they defeated neighbours Benin Republic 3-1 in the final of the WAFU B Tourney.

The U-20 AFCON will be staged in Egypt from February 18 to March 12, 2023.

The top four teams in the competition will represent Africa at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia.
