UCL: Champions League leading scorers, most assists as 12 clubs qualify for Round of 16

Following the conclusion of the UEFA Champions League group stage match-day five fixtures on Wednesday night, below are the current leading scorers and assists in the Europe top-flight competition so far.

Recall that Real Madrid, Manchester City, Napoli, Bayern Munich, Club Brugge, Chelsea, PSG, Benfica, Dortmund, Inter Milan, Porto and Liverpool have all qualified for the Round of 16 stages with one game to spare after this week̢۪s Champions League match-day four fixtures.

Liverpool̢۪s Mohamed Salah is currently the joint-top leading scorer in the UEFA Champions League for the 2022/2023 season.

The Egyptian international striker netted a goal in his side̢۪s Champions League 3-0 win over Ajax on Wednesday.

Salah presently has six goals alongside Paris Saint-Germain̢۪s Kylian Mbappe.

Top scorers in the 2022/2023 Champions League so far:

6 goals – Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) and Kylian Mbappé (PSG).

5 goals – Erling Haaland (Man City) and Robert Lewandowski (Barcelona).

4 goals – Lionel Messi (PSG), Jude Bellingham (Dortmund), Leroy Sané (Bayern Munich), and Giacomo Raspadori (Napoli), Giovanni Simeone (Napoli) and Mehdi Taremi (Porto)

3 goals – Mohammed Kudus (Ajax), Noah Okafor (Salzburg) and Piotr ZieliÃ…„ski (Napoli).

Most assists in the 2022/23 Champions League so far:

4 assists – João Cancelo (Man City) and Diogo Jota (Liverpool)

3 assists – Ángel Di María (Juventus), Neymar (PSG), André Silva (Leipzig), André-Frank Zambo Anguissa (Napoli), Leon Goretzka (Bayern), Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (Napoli) and Lionel Messi (PSG)

The Champions League group stage match-day six fixtures will take place on November 1 and 2.
