Controversial British broadcaster, Piers Morgan, has named Arsenal's Declan Rice as the best midfielder in the world at the moment.
Morgan said this after Rice led Arsenal to beat Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg tie on Wednesday.
Recall that two goals from Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli gave the Gunners the victory over Los Blancos.
VinÃcius Júnior did score a goal for Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu.
The second leg ended 2-1 in favour of Mikel Arteta's side.
Arsenal advanced to the Champions League semi-final stage with a 5-1 aggregate win.
The Premier League North London club had won the first leg 3-0 at Emirates Stadium last week, with Rice scoring two free-kick goals.
In a tweet on X after Arsenal defeated Madrid in Spain, Morgan hailed Rice, who won the Man of the Match award.

Rice joined Arsenal from Premier League side West Ham United in 2023.
