UCL: PSG suffer big injury blow ahead of second leg tie with Arsenal

Published on April 30, 2025 at 06:41 AM

Paris Saint-Germain manager, Luis Enrique, has confirmed that forward Ousmane Dembele picked up a minor hamstring injury during his side’s UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg 1-0 win against Arsenal on Tuesday at the Emirates Stadium.

According to Enrique, the France international is a doubt for the return leg against Arsenal next Wednesday in Paris.

Recall that Dembele scored the only goal in the first leg to give PSG a slim advantage.

The former Barcelona player was replaced midway through the second half by Bradley Barcola.

But while Dembele didn’t appear to be in any discomfort as he left the pitch, Enrique has now disclosed that the former Dortmund star might not play the second leg.

Enrique said in his post-match press conference: “I don’t know anything. The medical tests will take place tomorrow.

“It’s nothing serious, it’s quite minor, but there is a doubt for the return match,”; he said.

The Spaniard added to Canal+: “We are a real team. If Ousmane can play, that is good. If he doesn’t, we will see a team.”;
