UCL: PSG will be disappointed with 1-0 win over Arsenal – Walcott

Published on April 30, 2025 at 05:26 AM

Former England winger, Theo Walcott, has said Paris Saint-Germain will be “disappointed”; they didn’t score more goals against Arsenal.

PSG beat the Gunners 1-0 in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final tie on Tuesday night.

Ousmane Dembélé scored the winner at the Emirates as early as the 4th minute of the match.

The Ligue 1 champions had more chances to score, but were let down by poor finishing and excellent saves from David Raya.

Walcott believes the tie is not yet over as PSG were unable to leave North London with a bigger advantage.

“Arsenal are still in the game,”; Walcott told Amazon Prime.

“If it was 2-0 then it would potentially kill the tie. PSG will be disappointed it’s only one.”;

The second leg will be played at the Parc des Princes next Wednesday.
