UCL: Real Madrid receive boost ahead of second leg tie with Arsenal

Published on April 13, 2025 at 06:16 AM

Real Madrid have been handed a boost ahead of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg tie with Arsenal on Wednesday.

This comes after Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti confirmed at his pre-match press conference on Saturday that midfielder Dani Ceballos is now back to the team after recovery from an injury.

According to Ancelotti, Ceballos will be part of Real Madrid squad for the upcoming games against Alaves and Arsenal, respectively.

“He’s available for tomorrow and for Wednesday,”; Ancelotti said bout Ceballos.

Ceballos had missed Real Madrid's Champions League quarter-final first leg 3-0 defeat last week at Emirates.

He is expected to play a role in Madrid's midfielder after Eduardo Camavinga got a red card in the first leg against the Premier League North London club.

The winner between Arsenal and Real Madrid will face the winner between Aston Villa and Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-final.
