UFC 280 results: Islam Makhachev SUBMITS Charles Oliveira as Dillashaw suffers sickening injury and O’Malley beats Yan

ISLAM MAKHACHEV was crowned as the UFC lightweight champion after a submission victory over Charles Oliveira.

Oliveira and Makhachev had been on a collision course to clash with each other for months and months and finally did so in one of the UFC‘s most highly-anticipated championship fights.

The undercard also provided much entertainment, with victories for Alijamain Sterling, Sean O’Malley, Beinel Darius and Manon Fiorot.
