ICE CREAM fans are in for a treat, as the UK's most popular ice cream brand is giving out free cones today.
Now that the has perked up, many of us are spending our , enjoying the sun.


And what better way to get in the spirit than with a delicious ice cream cone.
Ben & Jerry's is celebrating Free Cone Day today (April 8) with stores around the world taking park in the event.
A select number of UK stores will be giving out free cones between 12 and 8pm.
The participating UK stores are:
- Edinburghâ 4 Castle Street
- London Sohoâ 74 Wardour Street
- Newquayâ 8 Central Square
- Norwichâ 110 Chantry Place Shopping Centre
- Windsorâ 12 Peascod Street
However, it's worth using the location finder to check whether your local store is taking part in the event.
The Vermont based ice cream brand has hosted a Free Cone Day since 1979, when it decided to give back to the community to thank them for the support they had received in their first year of .
Since then, Free Cone Day has grown drastically, and is now celebrated all over the world on April, 8.
Ben & Jerry's said: “Free cone day is being celebrated around the world and we’ll be giving away free ice cream.
“Every time you enjoy a scoop of Ben & Jerry's, you're showing us how much you care.
“We love you too and Free Cone Day is our favourite way to show it!”
To get your hands on a free cone, all you need to do is rock up to a participating store from 12pm, and ask for a free ice cream.
No code or voucher is needed, and there is not limit to the amount of cones that will be given out throughout the day.
Customers are entitled to one scoop per cone, and can choose any of the brand's popular flavours, such as Cookie Dough, Phish Food, or Chocolate Fudge Brownie.
There may be long queues, so prepare to wait patiently in line for your free ice cream.
Ben & Jerry's have also encouraged customers to “get back in line as many times as you like”, to nab a second, or even third ice cream.
And if an ice cream isn't enough to satiate your sweet tooth, M&S is also giving outto shoppers.
To qualify for the offer you first need to be a Sparks Member, which is M&S's free loyalty scheme.
It gives shoppers the chance to get offers that are tailored to them.
You will also then need to register for the M&S Parenthood Club.
This can be done if you go into the “My Account” section of your Sparks app and then click on “Subscriptions & clubs”.
Once you register, you should see the offer to claim the free biscuits in store.
