Watch moment Ukrainian cops sprint towards ‘absolute hell’ after Putin’s troops fired ballistic missile at playground

THIS is the horrific moment Ukrainian cops rush to a playground in Volodymyr Zelensky's hometown after it was shelled by Putin's ballistic missiles.

The devastating in killed at least nine children and nine adults, bringing the total death toll to 18, according to regional Governor Serhii Lysak.

The Governor also said on Saturday that a further 72 people were injured in the attack which took place on Friday.

17 of them are in a serious condition, and the youngest injured victim is a 3-month-old baby.

Oleksii Biloshytskyi, First Deputy Head of ‘s Patrol Department, shared the footage from police body cameras which captured the hellish moments following ‘s deadly strike.

The nightmarish footage showed officers running towards the scene, and finding multiple corpses scattered around the area.

Bodies are dragged out of and found in the children's playground.

Scores of residents can be seen running around frantically trying to help victims of the strikes.

At one point, a child is seen watching on in the aftermath of the hellish attack.

Head of the City's defence Oleksandr Vilkul said: “There can never be forgiveness for this.

“Eternal memory to the victims.”

Among the dead was a little boy, Timofiy, aged just three years old.

And another child victim was seven-year-old Radyslav Yatsko, who was being driven by his father near his home when the bombs rained down.

The boy, in the back seat, died from a huge blast, while his dad survived with concussion and multiple injuries.

Kryvyi Rih in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, is the hometown of Ukrainian President .

The President said on Telegram that the missile struck a playground area next to residential buildings.

The strikes came after “lied”; about making a “precision”; hit on a restaurant packed with Ukrainian military personnel and foreign instructors, said .

Local authorities said the horrifying strike damaged about 20 apartment buildings, more than 30 vehicles, an educational building and a restaurant.

Hours later, a later drone strike on Kryvyi Rih killed one woman and injured seven other people.

Zelensky blamed the strikes on Russia‘s unwillingness to end the war.

The Ukrainian President said: “Every missile, every drone strike proves Russia wants only war.”

He also urged allies to increase pressure on Moscow and help improve Ukraine‘s air defence systems.

Trump’s allies had urged the US President not to directly speak to the tyrant until he fully commits to a .

Despite no official talks being scheduled as of Thursday afternoon, European capitals expect the pair could speak again by phone as soon as today.

The US President took a rare aim at Putin on Sunday after the Russian tyrant called for ’s removal in an effort to stall peace talks.
