US: Elon Musk’s led DOGE terminates 63 wasteful contracts worth $124million

US billionaire, Elon Musk, who leads the Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE, has announced the termination of a further 63 wasteful contracts worth $124 million.

DOGE disclosed this in a statement released on its X account on Saturday.

According to DOGE, among the cancelled contracts is a $1.25 million for Department of Health and Human Services, HHS, marketing consultant contract for Google AdWords management and a $1.9M State Department consulting contract for global advisory and support services for the Republic of Palau in the Micronesia region.

The US agency noted that the cancellations have resulted in savings of $39million for the country.

“Today, agencies terminated 63 wasteful contracts with a ceiling value of $124M and savings of $39M, including a $1.25M @HHSGov marketing consultant contract for “Google AdWords management”; and a $1.9M @StateDept consulting contract for “global advisory and support services”; for the Republic of Palau in the Micronesia region”;, DOGE stated on X.

This is coming less than two days after worth $8.7.5.
