US senator slams Democrats for issuing SSNs to criminals under Biden’s administration

Published on April 12, 2025 at 08:59 PM

The senior United States senator representing Tennessee, Marsha Blackburn, has reacted to the Department of Government Efficiency's revelation that 6,300 illegal migrants with criminal ties were issued Social Security numbers and received benefits such as Medicaid under former President Joe Biden.

In a statement posted on X, she condemned the opposition party, stating, ‘Democrats lied.'

Her remarks come as the Department of Government Efficiency, concerning US unemployment insurance claims dating back to 2020.

“It’s corrupt: @DOGE found that 6,300 aliens admitted with criminal or terror ties went on to receive an SSN and benefits like Medicaid under Biden.

“Democrats lied about Republicans wanting to cut benefits for hardworking Americans but allowed this blatant misuse of tax dollars,” she wrote on X.

Earlier, DAILY POST reported that and Massachusetts accounted for the majority of improper unemployment claims in the United States.

DOGE, headed by billionaire Elon Musk, was mandated by President Donald Trump's administration to eliminate waste within US federal agencies.

Last week, Trump expressed satisfaction with DOGE's performance, suggesting that the department may become a permanent fixture.
