Now, the former TalkTV star has revealed that her first celebrity guest will be none other than former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan.

The presenter teased that she will not be afraid to get “candid” in the studio with the former I'm A Celebrity personality about her personal life.

“Well, on the very first show, we have the wonderful Helen Flanagan, star of Corrie glamor, puss extraordinaire,” she explained as she praised her former Celebs Go Dating co-star.

Vanessa continued: “She's also very candid about all sorts of issues that she's had in life, it hasn't necessarily gone straightforwardly in every way.

She had a sad split from the father of her children. She's found love again.”

Feltz added: “She's going to be, you know, a revelation. I think she's going to be fabulous.”

Vanessa Feltz on 5

Vanessa Feltz is set to host her own brand new daytime show on 5, but what can viewers expect?

The commercial network have promised the show will be open, honest, and full of fun discussions.

Topics that will be covered include relationships, parenting, gossip or fashion.

Speaking about her self-titled programme, she said: “I cannot wait to get started on this sparkling adventure with Channel 5.

“This show is all about YOU – your stories, your opinions, your emotions, and your triumphs. Television’s never been so real, honest, or unpredictable.

“Life isn’t perfect, so let’s not pretend it is – let’s help each other out, have a giggle, and make every show a conversation worth having so kick off your shoes and come and join me for lunch, relax with a bit of me time and let’s have a ball!”

This comes after she opened up on her exit from This Morning, as she insisted that far from leaving the ITV flagship programme, she just physically cannot do both shows.

She told The Metro: “I love This Morning, I would never leave it, I couldn’t love it more.

“I would happily have stayed and gone on the back of a motorbike from the This Morning studio straight to Channel 5 and done both.

“I almost believed I’d be able to do that, but I think apparently, it’s not the way it’s done... but I’d have done it, and I think they would have been happy for me to do it too.”

She added: “Yes I’m not doing it but I didn’t leave, I am just doing something else, that’s all.”
