A WOMAN who has made £174 on Vinted in just two days has shared the top tip that's been a game changer for her in terms of sales.
Jess is a frequent uploader on and has varying levels of success every week.
But in a video on her TikTok page, she admitted that one of the she tried out had a massive difference on how much she'd managed to sell.
“I always talk about putting your Vinted photos up on a plain background with bright light,” Jess began.
“Now the tip I got yesterday, which I tried out and definitely works, is that instead of hanging up on a white door or a plain door, lie them down flat.
“Now I always do this and I get pretty good views but in all honesty I just put them on my kitchen floor and it's never stopped me making a lot of sales.
“But last night I put them down on a white sheet and so the new photos that I uploaded went down on this white sheet.”
Jess admitted that after doing so, she had an influx of views and people favouriting her items, as she said: “Yeah, game changer!
“So my new tip is yes post bright photos on a plain background, don't hang them up, put them on the bed, put them on the floor but put a white sheet or a white towel or something underneath them.
“It boosts your views hugely – and your favourites.”
Jess continued to share some of her other suggestions, including using “really clear descriptions” of items, and vetting buyers to ensure you're not being targeted by any scammers.
Her last tip – and one she employs on a daily basis – is to get in touch with people after they favourite your items to tell them when you're next doing a post run, and that you “accept offers on everything”.
“It often just tips them over the edge into buying something,” she continued.
“And I think that's quite an important thing to consider because if somebody only needs a little bit of encouragement to buy from you, why wouldn't you give it to them?
“This is a tip that I saw really early on and I use all the time and it's a really good one.”
The comments section was almost immediately filled with people praising Jess for sharing the suggestions, with one writing: “Really great tips! Thank you!”
