He walked over to the big interactive screen in his studio where a torrent of horrid comments was on display.

One extremely vile comment even wished death upon the star anchor.

Jeremy read out the post as it was emblazoned on the screen: “Surely this “man”; has to be one of Englands biggest a*******e.

“It may be terrible but i hope he falls under the wheels of 5 cars that reverse and make sure the jobs done.”;

He exclaimed: “This is just a little part of it.”;

The star then went onto read more abusive posts from users online, one of which read: “Please die, sooner the better.”;

While a third stated: “You really are a complete c***. Your day will come,”;

Jeremy seemed completely taken aback by the abuse he received as he added: “They want me to get run over, that’s what’s so weird.”;

This comes after the presenter admitted that he has been forced to make changes to his activity online.

Jeremy is known to cycle to work as he needs to get to his daily 2 show at BBC‘s New Broadcasting House in London.

This is after presenting his self-titled show on Channel 5 from the ITN studios at Gray’s Inn Road.

He was also well-known for posting his encounters with motorists from the road on social media.

After the intense trolling he experienced, Jeremy has said that he’s stopped posting the videos because it ‘did get’ to him.

He explained: “I do have to deal with quite a lot of incoming, what you would have called flak in the olden days, but now they call it trolling.

“I shouldn’t mind, but in the end I just thought I just want to now switch the narrative. I don’t want to do this any more and in the end it did get to me.”;
