And, in a recent video, she shared one of the biggest mistakes people are making before starting on the injections

She also advised drinking at least two litres of water a day, and suggested reading the whole instruction leaflet that comes with the injections

However, in a video on her TikTok page, the mum-of-two said it's one of the worst things you can do – and it could lead to some “nasty” side effects.

“You're going to have the urge to want to binge out, have a big massive the day before or the day of taking your first jab,” she said.

“Do not do this.”

Insisting the combination of Mounjaro and greasy food is “not good”, Lois continued: “Once that Mounjaro is in your system, the food that you have eaten that day or even the night before is also still in your system.

“And let me tell you you some nasty side

“, just feeling disgusting, bad tummy issues, bad toilet issues.

“You're going to get that if your body does not agree with greasy food and Mounjaro like myself.”

Lois added that her inbox has been full of people asking her for advice, after taking it for five days and being left ““.

“The first thing I ask them is ‘What did you eat?'” she said.

“Now some people will not agree with the medication. just like any medication it probably just doesn't agree with your body.

“But majority of the time it's because of what they've eaten.”

She then went on to share her other tips, including drinking two litres of water a day and sticking to a calorie deficit with meal plans.

And she recommended looking at social media pages too – for motivation and inspiration for food ideas.

“Lastly but probably the most important one, read the leaflet your Mounjaro comes with, because it is going to tell you everything you need to know,” Lois continued.

“A lot of people don't even go and read the booklet that it comes with.

“I was one of them, I didn't read it until the second pen.

“Because it's going to tell you things in there that you should look out for, that are more of the dangerous side effects.

“Which let's all be real, it's medication, medication can have side effects. so just prepare yourself for that.”

Lois' video was quickly picked up by other Mounjaro users, with one writing: “Currently watching this in the bathroom fighting for my LIFE!”

“I did this and day 2 and night was hell,” another admitted about a pre-starting binge.

“I was throwing up like no other. “

“I’m on day three and constipated to hell!!” a third added.

“Drinking 3ltr of water and craving sugary things! However I’m absolutely frozen all the time!”

“Have a Dulcolax if it gets really bad, I'm also always cold,” Lois replied.
