Gareth Southgate played down allegations White left due to a bust-up with assistant Steve Holland

Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate played down allegations that White had gone home following a bust-up with assistant Steve Holland.

White then rejoined his Arsenal team-mates in Dubai on Saturday, before taking part in his first training session on Sunday.

And the 25-year-old has now taken to Instagram after linking up with his club pals.

He uploaded snaps of himself in training and simply wrote: “We back baby.”

White followed up his short post with a smiley-face emoji.

He is yet to publicly speak out on his reasons for leaving the England setup.

The defender could be involved in tomorrow’s friendly against AC Milan after being reunited with Mikel Arteta’s squad.

White did not play for the Three Lions in any of their group stage matches before leaving Qatar ahead of the last-16 victory over Senegal.
