Woman ‘raped twice on seafront at popular beach’ – as man is arrested and charged

A WOMAN was allegedly raped twice and sexually assaulted on a popular UK beach, a court heard.

Luis Brazao is accused of attacking the woman on Great Yarmouth seafront, in , on February 16 this year.

The 31-year-old allegedly sexually assaulted the woman twice on the same date.

Brazao, of Seafield Close, Yarmouth, appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Wednesday and denied all four offences.

A trial, which is expected to last five days, was set by Judge Katharine Moore to start on August 20 this year.

The defendant, who spoke through a Portuguese interpreter, was remanded in custody.
