World Cup: Brazil identify ex-Barcelona manager as potential successor to Tite

Published on December 23, 2022 at 09:31 AM

Brazil have reportedly identified former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique to be Tite’s potential successor.

Selecao are currently without a coach after Tite resigned from the role following Brazil’s quarter-final exit in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Tite’s men lost to Croatia 4-2 in a penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw after 120 minutes.

Many top managers, including Carlo Ancelotti and Zinedine Zidane, have been linked with the vacant position.

However, the latest name to be in the frame of becoming Tite’s successor is Enrique, according to Fichajes.

The Brazilian football confederation reportedly regards Enrique as an ideal candidate to replace Tite.
