World Cup: Evil people – Brazil coach, Tite slams Roy Keane over ‘disrespectful’ comment

Published on December 08, 2022 at 02:47 AM

Brazil boss Tite has slammed Roy Keane, describing the former Manchester United midfielder as evil.

Tite said this while defending Brazilian players’ way of celebrating their goals against South Korea on Monday night.

Vinicius Junior, Neymar, Richarlison and Lucas Paqueta all got on the scoresheet in a 4-1 win.

Each goal was accompanied by jubilant celebrations and dance moves.

And ITV pundit Roy Keane described celebrations as ‘disrespectful’ to South Korea, saying it was more like watching Strictly Come Dancing.

The Brazilian coach said that he would have loved to join the players in the celebration but added that he has to go through the training first to learn the moves.

“And the moves are very tight! I have to be very careful though. There are people who are evil who will say that was disrespectful,”; he told a post match press conference on Wednesday.

Up next for Brazil is a quarter final clash against Croatia which many pundits have predicted to be an easy one for the South American side.
