‘My heart is broken’ – WWE legend Mickie James’ brother and niece, 16, killed in horror car crash

WWE legend Mickie James has revealed the death of her brother and niece in a tragic accident.

The professional wrestler asked for prayers for her brother Wayne’s wife Christy Knuckles, who survived the incident.

James, 43, tweeted: “Thank you everyone for the love & the messages. It’s warmed my heart.

“Please continue to pray Wayne’s wife Christy Knuckles. She is still in serious condition in the hospital.

“She lost both her husband (My brother) and her 16yr old daughter in the accident.

“I can’t imagine.”;Also for the parents of her daughters best friend who was only 15.

“They had just picked her up and we’re taking the girls to school. My heart is broken for them as I don’t know what I would do.

“Think. Or even feel. I am sending so much strength, healing, and love.”;

James debuted in the WWE in 2005 and went on to hold the Women’s and Diva’s championship.

She most recently starred in the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble match while reigning as Impact Knockouts champion.

The American still competes for Impact Wrestling and recently won at the Bound for Glory pay-per-view.

James received well wishes from her fans online after confirming the sad news of her brother and nieces death.

But she also urged the driver of the alleged incident to forgive himself.

James wrote: “Lastly, please lift up the driver of the other vehicle who hit them.

“Thankfully he is ok. But mentally & emotionally I’m sure is devastated. I hope he knows and forgives himself. It wasn’t your fault.

“There was nothing you could do. It was an accident. A tragic accident.”;

James was also supported by her wrestling colleagues, who reacted to the heartbreaking news.

Ex-WWE tag team the Bollywood Boyz said: “So sorry to read this. Our sincerest condolences, Mickie. Prayers up.”;

Wrestling legend Lance Storm replied: “So sorry for your loss Mickie. Much love.”;
