Chaos as ‘XL Bully’ is killed by cops after dog is ‘released by men armed with machetes in attempt to evade police’

AN “XL Bully” has been killed by cops after a dog is “released by men with machetes” as they attempt to escape from cops.

Cops were urgently called to Nutsford Vale Park in Levenshulme on Friday evening.

Greater Manchester Police said in a statement: “Several tactics were utilised in an attempt to safely restrain the dog.

“To mitigate the danger posed to the public and officers at the scene, the dog was Tasered.”
